Fees and Rebates
The full fee is payable at the end of each session. Payments can be made by Visa card or Mastercard.
Initial Consultation (50 mins) and subsequent sessions $250.
Medicare rebate $141.85.
Dr Dawson can provide psychometric assessments and written reports for adults and children. There is no Medicare rebate available for psychometric reports, but some private funds may provide a rebate. For adult ADHD assessments the report fee is included in the final session fee.
If you have a written referral to Dr. Dawson and mental health treatment plan from your GP, you can claim a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. The full fee is payable at the time of your appointment, and the Medicare rebate can be claimed through the Medicare app. The Medicare rebate is currently $141.85 per session.
If you have private health insurance, rebates may be available through your health fund. Please contact your health fund of full details.

Cancellations
If it is not possible to make your appointment, please let us know by phone at least 48 hours before your appointment to reschedule. Late notice cancellations made 1-2 days prior to the appointment will be charged at 50% of the full fee. On the day of your appointment, if you cancel or don’t show up for your appointment, the full fee is payable.
